Global Discovery Expeditions
To facilitate the development of successful global teams through the educational experience of a one week international discovery project. This program will also give the participants a new angle on their job by putting them in the direct network of upstream and downstream industry players.

Overview:
Participants have the choice of three different vibrant centres of international business in: China (Shanghai), North America (Silicon Valley) and India (Mumbai). Each has its own individual business atmosphere, culture and socio-economic variations. The opportunity to explore one of these areas in detail, will give each participant a new perspective of their own industry. This provides the team with a rich context for new ideas for their company and careers.
The plan is not just to 'tour' one of these 3 regions. Participants will have assignments that require them to truly understand how each region works, and why it is successful- or not. These expeditions will be a total immersion, 'learning-by-doing' experiences. There will be discussions with a wide range of people, from politicians, business leaders, notable academics, to leading consumer groups.
The Discovery Expeditions will also be hands on learning processes in how to investigate new trends and ideas in any given industry, and how to weigh up their significance for participants and their business. It is valuable in today's business environment because of the information it gives about emerging business ideas. It is also allows for the evaluation of future trends facing corporations such as new business models, technological innovation and changing industry conditions.
