  • The Three Platforms of the High Flyer Program are as follows:

    The completion of an innovative and breakthrough project


    Teams will be made up of four to five delegates. The number of project teams ranges from three to five and are made up of senior executives representing different functional areas. They will spend a minimum six months on a breakthrough project that adds real value to the company. Past projects have involved the following:

      • Product development
      • Diversification into new markets
      • Global branding
      • Inventory control
      • Costing and operational procedures
      • Organisational structures

    The work will culminate in a presentation to senior directors recommending a strategic plan for the implementation of new ideas set out in the project. The value of this process is to allow key leaders of an organisation to work across functional areas outside of their normal day to day operational responsibilities. They will be taken through a creative and ground-breaking process which will allow them to conceptualize new strategies for the growth and success of the company.

     

    Transforming the mindset of business leaders


    The focus is to develop an entrepreneurial and visionary mindset. Corporate leaders are promoted because of their administrative, bureaucratic and political skills.

    The development of global teams


    The focus is to empower the group and facilitate the process by which they will move beyond the normal barriers of culture and language.

    The process of working in teams of senior executives from different countries with different mindsets over a period of six months has proven to be an effective way of overcoming these traditional barriers.
